Highly Professional coaches
Through sport, the Unity project aim to provide an alternative to street life and gang culture, inculcating positive values of trust, commitment, teamwork, cooperation, discipline and above all providing fun activities for the youth who would otherwise lack such opportunities.
Our project works hard to find the right balance of fun and professionalism. It's no secret that kids tend to be attracted to playful lessons. Through years of youth training experience, our coaches have devised sessions that are professional and enjoyable.

With a combined experience of 63 years between the 5 coaches, the youths in our project can rest assured that they'll be learning from the experts. Our team of coaches include two ex-professional players, two professional youth coaches and a goalkeeper coach.

As a former Ethiopian football pro, I'm passionate about supporting vulnerable youth, shaping society, and uplifting our country. Through mentorship and football, we can empower them to reach their potential, address societal challenges, and create a brighter future for Ethiopia together.
Hawassa city stands as a hub brimming with an abundance of potential and exceptionally gifted footballers who find themselves grappling with adversities. It is our collective responsibility to avert the arduous path that plagued my own childhood in the realm of football from being repeated in the lives of present-day adolescents.
I recognize the importance of supporting vulnerable youth and making a positive impact on society and our country. By providing mentorship, resources, and opportunities, we can empower them to overcome challenges, realize their potential, and contribute to the betterment of our community and nation.
Unity youth Project supports some of the most marginalised and vulnerable young people in and around Hawassa city; street children, orphans, internally displaced people, and young people from urban slum communities and low-income rural communities.
